Bargain Alert
Tonight we had a classic: spaghetti with meat sauce. We paired it with Corte Majoli Valpolicella Ripasso. Wow. What a buy at $12. They also make a nice Amarone and you can sense that in their valpolicella. It's one of those wines you don't want to actually drink: it is just too hopelessly right on the nose, with really delightful dark cherries bracketed by a nice, controlled oakiness.
