A wee bit of smoke from Islay
I just wanted to take moment to share in my latest addiction: the 16 year old single malt from Lagavulin. An Islay single malt, it has very powerful notes of smoke and peat, but in a very smooth, assured and genuine kind of way. A great fall and winter "by the fireside" whiskey.

Don't you need a fireplace with actual wood in order to truly enjoy a "fireside" beverage?

Lunchbox, is that you??
You do not need the actual fireplace...but it helps.
