The latest from Robert Samuelson. Am I the only one that notices that most of the best editorials in the past years or so have emerge on the pages of the Post, and not the Times??

No, you're not alone. The Times is truly an awful paper. The only thing that really keeps it going is the reputation it used to have. Their op-ed staff is ridiculous. Paul Krugman's whole M.O. is to criticise the Bush administration, regardless of the topic, Maureen Dowd is too immature to be an author (christ, her stuff is worse than a high-school newspaper gossip columnist), and Thomas Friedman is just so tired, and ignorant. David Brooks is ok, but since all these clowns are part of the Times Select now, none of them can be read anymore.
