Wow
Wow, it has been some time since I have posted. Mostly I have been very preoccupied by work (office and house). I ran into the following tidbit. I was particularly drawn to the lines
The Secret Service charged Wang with disorderly conduct under local statutes. The US Attorney's office was weighing federal charges of "willing intimidation or disruption of a foreign official," said Secret Service spokesman Eric Zahren.
What an awesome attitude. Mr. Zahren (as appropriate a representative of his insititution as I think I've ever run across) is so right, and so obviously in touch with all of our cherished American values. How dare an ordinary citizen speak up!
Based on my growing body of experience with the Secret Service, I suggest a web based campaign to give it a new and more fitting name. I nominate "The Praetorian Guard".
